General Terms of Trade
The online store permits the Buyer to purchase using a credit card or on account. The shopping process provides us with all the details we required to complete the order. You may also email your order to [email protected]. Offline orders must include: customer details; billing details; order number; model number; brief description; fabric brand and colour; freight costs and total price. Online orders will be confirmed to you by email quoting a Damba Gregory Commercial Furniture Ltd Sales Order Confirmation number. You will need to quote this number when making enquiries against your order. If we have provided you with a quote for your order, please make reference to the quote number when placing your order. All orders are prepaid or COD unless an account has been opened. To apply for an account a trading history with Damba Gregory Commercial Furniture Ltd needs to be established and you will need to complete a credit application form. Damba Gregory Commercial Furniture sells all goods on a non-returnable basis. If the Buyer wishes to cancel an order, all cancellations require prior written authorisation by Damba Gregory Commercial Furniture Ltd.
For Buyers on account, payments are Nett 30 days from date of invoice. Interest charges may apply to overdue accounts.
Credit Card and Cancellation Fees
All Credit Card transactions will incur a 2.5% fee EXCEPT for account customers that have purchased from Damba Gregory Commercial Furniture Ltd in the previous six months from the order date. We will endeavor to accommodate cancellation/modification of an existing order whenever possible. Any cancellation or alteration after placement of order may incur total or partial charge, dependent on the stage of manufacture. Buyer acknowledges a cost may have been occurred by Damba Gregory Commercial Furniture Ltd and that these costs can be on-charged by Damba Gregory Commercial Furniture Ltd. A 20% Cancellation Fee applies to orders cancelled more than 5 working days after order date. The decision to charge for fabrics on cancellation of an order is at the discretion of Damba Gregory Commercial Furniture Ltd.
You can return or exchange an item that you have brought on our website if the item has not been used and is in new, saleable condition, you have kept your proof of purchase and it is within 14 days of receiving your purchase, a restocking fee may apply, Return freight is borne by the customer. End of line sale items and final sale items are non refundable.
Freight & Delivery
Placement of goods and debagging will incur an additional cost of $7 per unit and Damba Gregory Commercial Furniture NZ needs to be advised before delivery is scheduled. Prices are inclusive of a single delivery, Monday to Friday, during normal business hours. Damba Gregory Commercial Furniture Ltd reserves the right to charge for unusual delivery requests e.g. multi storey installations, after hours delivery, couriers etc. If the scheduled delivery date is changed by the Buyer, we reserve the right to invoice the full amount of the order (if the order is on account) and pass on the storage costs @ $5 per unit per month. Damba Gregory Commercial Furniture Ltd requires goods delivered to the buyer to be inspected by the buyer for any transit damage. Goods damaged in transit have to be notified to the deliverer and a photograph taken identifying the damage. Damba Gregory Commercial Furniture Ltd needs to be notified in writing no later than 5 working days from delivery.
Damba Gregory Commercial Furniture warrants all product for a period of five (5) years or other as specified at the time of purchase, under normal 50 hours, 5 days per week usage, to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Damba Gregory Commercial Furnitures liability under this warranty (and any warranty that is implied and can only be limited as permitted by law) is to repair or replace (at its discretion) any part or product covered by this (or any implied) warranty. To the extent permitted by law, this warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, castors warranty only 12 months
- Fabric (as this is normally specified by the customer). However, the fabric warranty provided by the supplier applies
- Damage arising from abnormal use, or abuse
- Products which have not been maintained as recommended by Damba Gregory Commercial Furniture Ltd, or which have been modified
- Any indirect or consequential loss
- Transport charges to return (to and from) the product to Damba Gregory Commercial Furniture Ltd for repair or replacement
This warranty applies only to the original purchase. The order/serial number of the chair/item must be supplied before any repairs will be undertaken. All works carried out by a party under instructions from Damba Gregory Commercial Furniture Ltd will be covered by the warranty. Onsite warranty repair service is offered (where available) for Damba Gregory Commerical Furniture Ltd product only. A service fee applies POA.

Sample/Trial chairs and product demonstrations are available upon request from Damba Gregory Commercial Furniture Ltd. Contact us to discuss delivery details. Return freight is borne by the customer.
Despatch dates quoted are Ex Factory and dependent upon the availability of raw materials, components and fabric at the time of order placement. Lead times are generally up to 10 working days for task, visitor and executive chairs; sofas and ottomans are up to 20 working days. We will notify you if there are any delays in your delivery.
